It’s never fun and rarely advisable to bet against Max Holloway, but the former featherweight champion looks to have simply met his stylistic anti-matter in current titleholder Alexander Volkanovski.

There were few areas of the first bout in which Volkanovski didn’t deserve to be named superior, giving “Blessed” very little ideas of what to work on specifically for their rematch. The reigning champ comes in aa -230 (1.43) frontrunner ahead of Holloway at +190 (2.95), with Volkanovski (21-1) now seven years removed from his only professional defeat while his opponent has lost two of his last three.
The Australian champ goes up to +100 (2.00) with William Hill for New Jersey customers to again win via decision, though Holloway also looks tempting at +300 (4.00) to reclaim his belt via that route.
Leg kicks in particular proved pivotal to the first clash and could do once again, with another decision victory for Volkanovski looking probable, particularly if the latter has refined his ability to last through the championship rounds.
