2020 NFL Predictions: New York Jets Lose by Small Margins in Week 1 Opener vs. Buffalo
The 2020 NFL season is ready to make its long-anticipated arrival on the sports calendar, with a Week 1 clash between rivals the New York Jets and Buffalo on the cards early doors.
Not a lot of ground separates these two teams as far as the geography is concerned, although the Bills will be viewed as several steps ahead of the Jets in their bid to challenge this coming campaign.
New Jersey bettors can back Buffalo as -300 moneyline favorites with William Hill NJ, or the hosts offer a more tempting price of -110 to cover the 6.5-point spread. The Jets sit somewhat behind as +250 underdogs on the moneyline, suggesting an upset isn’t to be expected at Bills Stadium.

Venue: Bills Stadium, Orchard Park, NY

Buffalo have ventured into the play-offs twice in the past three seasons and are hopeful of finishing top two in the AFC East once again in 2020, a feat Sunday’s visitors haven’t accomplished since 2015. The Jets’ post-season drought is even worse considering they haven’t made it to the play-offs since 2010.
However, the Jets did finish last season strong under Adam Gase, who will enter his second campaign leading the New York franchise. The team finished 7-9 overall but recorded six of those wins in their last eight games, hoping to carry that momentum through to this year.
Buffalo trended in the opposite direction and finished the 2019 season in weaker form than they started, but coach Sean McDermott’s outfit should have enough to begin this year with a W all the same.
William Hill NJ offers New Jersey and Colorado customers odds of +145 that Buffalo will win both halves, and the match is +900 to go into overtime.
