New York Jets (NFL) Prop Bets & Predictions
Much like the team they share MetLife Stadium with, the New York Jets come into the 2020 NFL betting season hoping that it is better than 2019.
But as with most things in this extraordinary year, it might go south very quickly for Adam Gase’s team.
The Jets could honestly be a better team this season than last, but once again, like their compatriots they share the stadium with, an absolutely brutal schedule might scupper any plans for an improvement on their 7-9 record in 2019.
It is conceivable that New York will be an underdog in every game this year, especially on the road, where they will play these teams: Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, and New England Patriots.
Find me a win there, other than possibly Miami. The last three road games come in the final four weeks of the campaign, with a home game right after Christmas against the Browns sandwiched in there.
The over/under set by BetMGM is 6.5, and Jets’ fans will hope the end of the 2019 season, when New York went 6-2 from Week 10 on, is more what this team is than the start of 2019, when the Jets went 1-7 out of the gate.
That start of the season was against a schedule much like this year’s, so I would think that the Jets will once again struggle, especially if they can’t improve on their 31st ranked scoring offense (17.3 ppg.)
