VIE.gg receievd New Jersey sports betting and esports betting app license.
There soon could be a new and unique player entering the sports betting market in the state of New Jersey.
VIE.gg, the mobile sports betting arm of the New Jersey-based Esports Entertainment Group, Inc. is in the application process for a sports betting license in the state. Grant Johnson, CEO of Esports Entertainment Group, Inc., alluded to this fact earlier this week when announcing a partnership with Dignitas, a Newark, N.J.-based Esports company. The company also owns sportnation.bet, online sportsbook that may also launch in the USA (Colorado, NJ or other states).
“The partnership’s focus on digital and physical activations in the New Jersey market is ideally timed for us as we move forward on our application for our New Jersey gaming license,” Johnson said in a statement.
VIE.gg, became an official multi-year partner of Dignitas in June 2019, and under the expanded partnership, it has now secured the naming rights of Dignitas’ famed CS:GO team.
“Dignitas is a true leader in the esports community,” Johnson said. “Expanding our existing partnership and placing our brand in front of the millions of engaged Dignitas fans around the world further demonstrates our commitment to growing VIE.gg into the leading wagering platform in esports globally.”
The VIE.gg exclusively handles wagering on Esports events. VIE.gg bills itself as the number one place on the internet to bet on Esports matches and play fantasy eSports.
Esports Entertainment offers fantasy, pools, fixed odds and exchange style wagering on esports events in a licensed, regulated and secure platform to the global esports audience at VIE.gg.
“As a committed long-term partner, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to co-brand our VIE.gg platform alongside Dignitas’ legendary CS:GO team, an opportunity that can introduce our brand to millions of esports fans globally and help establish our status as a Tier 1 operator within esports betting”.
Magnus Leppäniemi, VP of Marketing and Head of Esports at Esports Entertainment Group.
Vie gg sportsbook app boasts of providing the widest markets across all Esports. Their sites offers betting markets on CS:GO, Dota 2, Call of Duty, League of Legends, Starcraft 2, Overwatch, Age of Empires, Arena of Valor, Artifact, PUBG, Dota Auto Chess, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Clash Royale, Halo, Fortnite, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, King of Glory, Quake, Magic, Paladins, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Smite, Starcraft, Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Tekken, Team Fortress 2, Warcraft 3, Vainglory, Warhammer, World of Warcraft and World of Tanks.
A unique feature of the VIE.gg website is that instead of betting against a bookmaker, bettors are wagering against each other. That enables opposing players to set the odds, rather than accepting the established odds from a sportsbook. Vie takes a five percent stipend off the top of any wager as their cut.

VIE.gg also offers fantasy wagering on their eSports markets. They offer both daily and weekly fantasy competitions and odds on eSports events, not only in NJ. Players select their team of fantasy esports players and collect points throughout the event. Winners receive cash and prizes for competing. Players can enter a fantasy game for as little as $1 and take home as much as $200 if the team they select is the winner.
New players will be eligible for a $20 risk-free bet upon signing up with their site. This risk-free bet must be played within 14 days of joining.
Though they don’t offer an esports betting app, the VIE.gg sportsbook website (soon in NJ, Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, NY and other U.S. states) is extremely mobile-friendly, so that shouldn’t cause any issues when using a mobile device.
