Premier League Lacrosse (PLL) Betting Guide: Bonus Offers & Odds
Premier League Lacrosse (PLL) strikes deal to join the betting world when Championship Series returns in July.
For Premier League Lacrosse, which was supposed to start on May 29, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced some changes to the league this season.
But other adjustments may actually be very welcome, especially for bettors around the world.
The PLL season will now be a two-week tournament, called the PLL Championship Series Powered by Ticketmaster, running from July 25 to August 9 2020. It will be in place of the season. We expect US sportsbooks and apps will offer odds and promotions and special free bets on Premier League Lacrosse.
Premier League Lacrosse (PLL) Betting Sites & Odds
While there are no lines available on PLL Series yet for futures betting or game betting, with the addition of the betting angle, expect the odds to be on various apps, such as bet365 NJ, SugarHouse NJ.
Check back here next month for updates on what should be a new and exciting way to watch, and bet online, on Premier League Lacrosse from New Jersey, Indiana, Colorado, Pennsylvania.
Premier League Lacrosse Teams
There are seven teams in the league: Archers LC, Atlas LC, Chaos LC, Chrome LC, Redwoods LC, Waterdogs LC, and Whipsnakes LC. Last season, Whipsnakes won the title with a 12-11 overtime win over Redwoods at the Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, PA, in front of 12,556 fans. This tournament will be played without fans, as the league tries to protect players and staff.
PLL Playoffs & Championship Series
According to the PLL website, the series will consist of 14 group play matches between the seven teams in the league to set up seeding for a single-elimination tournament, with all games broadcast across the NBC platform. The playoffs will start August 4 with three games, with the top seed getting a bye into the semifinals, which are slated for August 6. The final will be August 9 2020.

“The Premier Lacrosse League is excited to be a leader in the return of pro sports this July,” PLL Co-Founder, CMO and Atlas LC midfielder Paul Rabil said on the website. “Although we’ve pivoted our originally scheduled season to a fully quarantined, fanless model, our PLL Championship Series will bring sports fans an innovative and thrilling experience that only the best players in the world can provide. It’s taken a village of top-notch executives to develop, and this is a testament to the forward-thinking prowess that the PLL has become renowned for.”
It should be a big deal for the fledgling league, which debuted last year, to stay alive, while other up and coming leagues in various sports were struck hard by the coronavirus. But what may help the league grow even further this summer is the deal it struck with the Genius Sports Group, which will be the “Official Data and Integrity Partner” in regards to sports betting.
“Today is a landmark day for not only the Premier Lacrosse League, but the sport of lacrosse,” PLL Co-Founder & CEO Mike Rabil said. “We feel like the PLL is the most innovative sports league in the world and today is another testament to the hard work of our leadership team. We’ve partnered with the premier data provider in Genius Sports and will continue to work closely with top-tier operators to ensure a first-in-class experience for betters.
“With the addition of legalized sports wagering in the PLL, the PLL fan experience just got better. The Genius Sports team has a proven track record of success in working with leagues to launch sports betting platforms. Our partnership will offer services that span integrity education services, data collection and distribution as we work with state regulators and authorized gaming operators to cover the PLL.”
