#7 Penn State at Illinois
- Game Time: September 16, 12:00 PM ET
- Moneyline: PSU -600, ILL +430
- Spread: PSU -14.5
- Total: 48.5
The Penn State Nittany Lions and Illinois Fighting Illini will begin their conference schedule when they face off this Saturday.
By and large, these meetings have ended in Penn State’s favor. The Nittany Lions are 7-3 against the Illini in their last ten, and their last two losses came by only two points each. Penn State closed last season with five straight wins, the closest of which was decided by 14 points, and they’ve opened this season with a 38-15 win over West Virginia and a 63-7 dismantling of Delaware. Illinois, for their part, has opened the season with a 30-28 win over Toledo and a 23-34 loss to Kansas.
The teams are an even 5-5 against the spread through their last ten head-to-head matchups, but Penn State is on a 9-0 winning streak ATS. Illinois hasn’t covered in their last three games.

#9 Tennessee at Florida
- Game Time: September 16, 7:00 PM ET
- Moneyline: TEN -260, FLA +210
- Spread: TEN -6.5
- Total: 58.5
It’ll be an early meeting between these two SEC East rivals when Tennessee and Florida meet this Saturday.
Tennessee enters the matchup highly ranked and thus far undefeated, but Florida boasts the more impressive record in this head-to-head matchup. Eight of the last ten meetings between these teams have been won by the Gators, including each of the last five meetings in Gainesville.
If the Volunteers can buck recent history and leave Florida with a win over the Gators, they’ll have made a loud case to be taken seriously as a contender this season. Bettors who have doubts will find the odds on the Gators’ moneyline and spread compelling.

Colorado State at #22 Colorado
- Game Time: September 16, 10:00 PM ET
- Moneyline: CSU +980, COLO -2000
- Spread: COLO -22.5
- Total: 59.5
The Rocky Mountain Showdown will arrive early this year with the Colorado State Rams visiting the Colorado Buffaloes this Saturday night.
There are few hotter stories in the college football world right now than the 2-0 start that Colorado finds themselves on under first-year head coach Deion Sanders. They opened the season with a 45-42 victory over TCU – who played in the championship game this past January – and followed it with a 36-14 victory over Nebraska.
Each of the last five meetings between these teams has gone Colorado’s way, with them covering the spread in the last four. The under has been about as dominant – these teams have fallen short of the point total in eight of their last ten meetings.
