AFC South Winner – Tennessee Titans +110
The AFC South is going to be between the Colts and Titans. We can go ahead and predict that the Jaguars and Texans will not be in contention.
The story of the top two teams in the AFC is the offseason acquisitions. Both teams were great, but they are in better shape to contend for a Super Bowl than last year.
The Titans already had a team that was making noise in the NFL postseason. And now they have signed WR Julio Jones to go along with WR AJ Brown, not to mention having one of the top running backs in the league with Derrick Henry.
Both of these teams have similar odds to win the division, but I am going with the Titans. It’s a bigger risk to assume that Carson Wentz will bounce back in Indianapolis.
AFC West Winner – Kansas City Chiefs -300
It’s always tough to make a future bet with odds like -300. However, this is free money. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have their eyes on 17-0, and the rest of the division isn’t great.
The team with the next best odds is the Denver Broncos, and their over/under on season wins are set around 8.5.
Everything, and I mean everything, would have to go wrong for the Chiefs for them to lose the division. They still have all of their offensive weapons, such as Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce to go along with their MVP-winning quarterback.
NFL MVP – Josh Allen +1200
The Buffalo Bills are now in control of the AFC East, much thanks to Tom Brady finally leaving New England. They should be right back in contention for a Super Bowl run this season.
It was quite a season for Josh Allen last year. He finally found his groove in Buffalo and will be one of the favorites to win the MVP. He threw for over 3,500 yards last season, with 37 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions. It was good enough for an 81.7 QBR.
Expect him to start this season right where he left off – throwing passes to Stefon Diggs, who had over 1,500 yards receiving last year.
Taking Allen is a great NFL MVP future bet. He’s only 25, and they seem to always lean toward giving it to someone new. Mahomes will really have to perform well to take it away from Allen.

Super Bowl Winner – Indianapolis Colts +2500
Ok. I realize we already went over the AFC South and picked the Titans to win the division. However, there is a small chance that Carson Wentz returns to his old form.
He has all of the pieces he needs in Indianapolis, including a line that should finally give him protection, which he wasn’t getting in Philadelphia. WR T.Y. Hilton had the opportunity to leave the Colts for more money this offseason, but he expressed his belief in this franchise and their new quarterback.
I’m not saying that the Colts should win the Super Bowl in his first season, but with the ninth-best odds at +2500, it seems like a nice bet to make before the season begins. If they start out with a couple of wins, those odds could change very quickly.
Cleveland Browns Regular Season Wins – Over 10.5 -120
The ending of last season was a bit odd for the Browns. With Odell Beckham Jr. out, the team looked more in sync, especially Baker Mayfield. I’m not thinking too far into that. It’s too small of a sample size.
There are a few reasons why we love taking them to win over 10.5 games, and one is the health of Beckham Jr. Reports are that he is recovering extremely well and should be back to acrobatic catches in no time.
Plus, they should only have to worry about the Ravens in their division. Games against the Bengals and Steelers should be wins for this team. They will be getting their hardest game of the year out of the way in Week 1 against the Chiefs.
Don’t forget about the Browns’ running game. Just another reason why this team will be good down the stretch of the season. Football fans in Cleveland might be having a fun year!
New Orleans Saints Regular Season Wins – Under 9 -110
It’s going to be odd watching the Saints without Drew Brees. I think it will be a tough year in New Orleans.
The word is that Jameis Winston will likely be the starting QB, with the possibility of Tayson Hill giving him some competition. It’s going to be a big adjustment for Sean Payton, who has relied on a HOF behind center for years.
Their schedule includes the Titans, Packers, Seahawks, Cowboys, Dolphins, and the Buccaneers twice. That’s seven losses there, without even mentioning games that should be close.
I don’t see a scenario where this team wins double-digit games. Taking the under here is the smart bet.
AP Offensive Rookie of the Year – Trevor Lawrence +275
The best rookie on the offensive side of the ball will likely be a battle between Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields. Some NFL best bets can be the obvious choice, and that’s exactly what this us.
Lawrence can win this award without having a stellar season. No one expects the Jets to bounce back and become a playoff team in just one season. If he shows some promise and gives New York fans some hope, he should take home this award.
AP Comeback Player of the Year – Christian McCaffrey +600
There were many fantasy players who took Christian McCaffrey with the first overall pick in their drafts. And because of his injury, I doubt those teams performed very well.
He has to be disappointed with what happened last season. The biggest competitors for this award are Dak Prescott, Saquan Barkley, and Joe Burrow.
The Panthers now have Sam Darnold, who will quickly learn to love handing the ball off to McCaffrey. I can see him having a great season this year.

Types of NFL Best Bets
NFL betting has become much more sophisticated, especially after the repeal of PASPA in 2018 and the launch of legal online sportsbooks. The sites on our page will have tons of betting types for each NFL game.
Since the NFL is the most popular sport to bet on in the US, sportsbooks provide more options for the NFL than any other sport. We will go over some of the NFL best bets to make on sportsbooks this season.
Against the Spread
Betting against the spread is the most common wager for the NFL. Odds should always be around -110 when using this betting type.
For example: the Chiefs may be 7.5-point favorites to win a regular-season game. If you bet on the Chiefs, they would need to win by 8 points or more.
Betting ATS can be useful if you think an underdog has a chance to keep the game close. You could bet the moneyline to get a bigger payout, but the spread will give you some wiggle room. Your team could still lose and beat the spread.
On the other hand, if you see a potential blowout, don’t be scared of taking the large spread. But be careful, teams can change their approach late in a game if they are up by a lot.
The most common over/under bet is the total amount of points for an NFL game. But sportsbooks will also have over/under lines for quarters, halves, and for each team.
The popular bet is always the over. Who doesn’t want to cheer for points? But we see some of the NFL best bets that are often the under. Do your research and know how the offenses and defenses have been performing.
Betting totals can be exciting, even at the end of a blowout. It really doesn’t matter who wins. It’s all about the points!
Betting on the moneyline is simply choosing a team to win. However, it can be expensive for the favorite, sometimes even getting upwards to -300. It needs to be a lock to risk much while only winning a portion of what you wagered.
But it can be very profitable if you pick an upset. There’s nothing better than picking an underdog with odds of +150 or more and getting the win.
NFL Prop Bets
Fans love to look at Super Bowl prop bets. However, there are tons of NFL prop bets each week! Prop bets have nothing to do with the actual outcome, rather key events during the game.
Examples of NFL prop bets:
- Which team will score first?
- Will the first score be a touchdown or field goal/safety?
- Who will win the coin toss?
- Will (player) score a touchdown in the game?
- Will (player) have over 300 yards passing in the game?
NFL Live Betting
As sportsbook technology has improved, so has live betting. There aren’t tons of in-play betting options for every sport, but the NFL is different. Being so popular, sites will include plenty of NFL live betting markets.
Live betting on the NFL allows you to place wagers as the odds change. It can be one of the most entertaining ways to watch a game.
If you can pick up on a momentum shift or react to a line before the sportsbook, it can advantageous. Plus, live betting is a great way to hedge your existing bets to limit your losses or create a win-win scenario!
