Here is our preview, odds and best picks for Europa League Quarter-Finals betting
The Red Devils continue their march as +155 moneyline frontrunners for the top prize, per Unibet NJ, while the Gunners come closest but are still worth double that price at +300. Two of the past four Europa League champions have hailed from England, but there are underdogs and other promising contenders with potential at larger odds.
There’s every chance the English rivals will meet in the climax of this year’s competition after falling on opposite sides of the quarter-final draw. United—who face Granada in the next round—will meet the winner of Ajax and AS Roma if they reach the semi-finals, while Arsenal are due a date opposite Villarreal of Dinamo Zagreb provided they make it past Slavia Prague.
2020-21 Europa League Quarter-Finals (1st Leg/2nd Leg)
- Granada vs. Manchester United (April 8/15)
- Arsenal vs. Slavia Prague (April 8/15)
- Ajax vs. AS Roma (April 8/15)
- Dinamo Zagreb vs. Villarreal (April 8/15)
Villarreal to Win Outright (+600)
Unai Emery and the Europa League is one of those famous partnerships that will stand the test of time. Better than Batman and Robin, sweeter than milk and honey, more consistent than mac and cheese.
Having left the confines of Sevilla, where he once won this competition three years running—something no other club has achieved, not even when it was the UEFA Cup—the ex-Arsenal chief is back in Spain and hoping to replicate his success with Villarreal, a +600 outsider for the title:

Aside from Emery’s eerie proclivity for winning this tournament, the Yellow Submarine has rediscovered some of their sterner form following a mid-season wobble. Villarreal have won four games straight for the second time in 2021, two of which were home-and-away results against Dynamo Kiev during the Europa League’s round of 16.
Their quarter-final opponents, Dinamo, are at the longest odds of any team to win this competition, with the sense a last-16 upset of Tottenham Hotspur may have been their Mount Everest.
There would be no greater poetry than for Emery to get his semi-final revenge over former employers Arsenal, who ended the last round in weak form with a 1-0 home loss to Olympiacos. Spanish teams have a particularly prolific record in Europe’s secondary competition and have clinched seven of the last 11 Europa League trophies, including five of the last seven.
Gerard Moreno to Record Most Assists (+400)
Speaking of the Yellow Submarine, Villarreal forward Gerard Moreno is a prime outsider to win an individual prize of his own even if the club isn’t successful in their pursuit of the main accolade.
Braga midfielder Galeno is the Europa League’s current assist leader with five, but Moreno and Dinamo’s Lovro Majer are the closest players still in the competition with four each. Arsenal’s Joe Willock also has four assists to his name, although midfielder has since joined Newcastle United on loan and won’t appear in Europe for the Gunners this season.
Galeno remains the +100 favorite for the award, but a lead of one assist looks meagre considering Braga are out, making Moreno’s +400 price all the more appealing.
Moreno has thrived in attack for Emery’s side whether he’s fielded up front or out wide, and a quarter-final meeting with Dinamo could yield goal chances in abundance for the Spaniards. The attacker was taken off in a recent 2-1 win over Cadiz, but concerns over his fitness were eased after he joined up with Spain for the upcoming international break:
