PickStar Challenge – Winner, Winner!

In Week 12 of our free-to-play game, we have a winner! Congratulations Shane! He got all of the predictions correct. Being the only one to do so, he gets the entire $1,000 prize pool.

Let’s go over each question that was asked this week and the results.

Who will win the Steelers @ Bengals matchup? Steelers

An absolute blowout. After this game, some are beginning to think that it’s time for Ben Roethlisberger to hang it up. Bengals won by 31, and it was never close.

Cincinnati has a playoff team. I would say they have some bad losses, but at this point, every league in the team does. Joe Burrow is playing well, especially when he gets over 100 yards rushing from Joe Mixon.

Which team will have more passing yards (Titans or Patriots)? Patriots

I’m still impressed with what New England has done over the past couple of weeks. Tennessee isn’t the same without Derrick Henry but winning by 23 makes a statement.

The game wasn’t close, and this question wasn’t either. Ryan Tannehill only threw for 93 yards. On the other hand, Mac Jones threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns. I’d say he’s pretty happy about where he landed in the draft.

Who will win the Buccaneers @ Colts matchup? Buccaneers

What a great game. As a Colts fan, I would love to see this team get some wins and make the playoffs. And this would’ve been a great game to have. The over was the easy bet here.

In the end, it came down to Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. They were too much to handle for Indianapolis. Jonathan Taylor needed more touches to get over the 100-yard mark, while Wentz was picked off twice.

Who will win the Rams @ Packers matchup? Packers

All of the Packers’ stockholders had to be happy with the big win against the Rams, who have shown how talented they can be. But it does seem like the Rams are starting to slip far from their expectations.

 Aaron Rodgers is following up the offseason drama with an MVP-worthy season. The Packers seem to have just as good of a chance as anyone to win a Super Bowl.

Which team will rush for more yards (Browns or Ravens)? Ravens

I was really hoping for a better game. It was tough to watch. But like most of the season, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens find a way to get a win.

It helped that the Baltimore defense held the Browns to 40 rushing yards. Hard to imagine only generating 40 yards on the ground with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Jackson throwing four picks couldn’t even help.

Over or under 46.5 total points in the Seahawks @ Football Team matchup?

It all came down to this game for Shane. And luckily for him, it was never in doubt. Neither offense really had much success. Russell Wilson struggled, but made a late drive to put the Seahawks into position to send the game to overtime.

But even if the game went into overtime, it would have been impossible to reach 47 points.

Another Chance in Week 13

Shane, as well as the rest of the competitors in our PickStar Challenge, will have another chance to compete in Week 13. We will be launching another set of six questions.
