NFL: Oakland Raiders betting trends & advice
Oakland Raiders betting advice
Bet against them. For some reason, there is thought the Raiders had a good offseason and might be back in the mix. They didn’t and they won’t. If the lines aren’t too high, bet against the Raiders on a regular basis. You’ll be glad you did.
What to know when betting on Oakland Raiders
The Raiders have had just one winning record (12-4 in 2016) since 2002. That’s a lot of losing for a once-proud franchise. A year ago, new boss, Jon Gruden traded away his best defensive player Khalil Mack (to Chicago) and his best offensive player Amari Cooper (to Dallas). And the team finished 4-12 not unexpectedly. This offseason the Raiders tried to put some of the pieces back together. They traded with Pittsburgh for talented, but hard to handle wide receiver Antonio Brown. And took some chances on other run-of-the-mill players.

Brown, if he’s happy, can be a very dangerous wide receiver and will certainly be the No. 1 target for quarterback David Carr, who hasn’t been right since suffering an injury at the end of the 2016 season.
