NFL Week 10 Predictions: Indianapolis Colts Level AFC South Lead at Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans can take control of the AFC South if they send the Indianapolis Colts packing from Nashville when the division rivals clash on Thursday (November 12).

Mike Vrabel’s side head into Week 10 as AFC South leaders, but the Titans’ 6-2 record boasts only one win more than the Colts (5-3), who can draw level at the summit with victory at Nissan Stadium.

Fine margins separate the two teams on paper, but Borgata has the hosts narrowly ahead as -134 favorites, while the Colts travel with a +115 price-tag on their heads.

Momentum may be running in favor of the Titans this season, but their guests are in fact chasing a third straight win in Nashville. Indianapolis have won at Nissan Stadium in each of the past two years, edging a 19-17 result in their most recent visit (Sept. 2019):

Frank Reich & Co. struggled to a 24-10 loss against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, just after their attack looked to have found some rhythm with 72 combined points against the Bengals and the Lions prior to that. 

The Titans had more joy with a 24-17 win over the Chicago Bears, where Ryan Tannehill and AJ Brown’s second-quarter combination attracted deserved plaudits:

Tennessee’s attack has the potential to undo just about any team, but there are question marks over a defense that ranks 30th in the league for passing touchdowns allowed this year. Borgata carries a +110 price the Titans will score fewer than 23.5 points on home soil, which has been the case the last two times the Colts have made the trip

The road team emerged as victor in each of last season’s clashes between this duo, but Nissan Stadium has historically been very hospitable to the Colts. Indianapolis lost their maiden visit in December 2002 but are 13-5 at the venue overall, and their expertly run defense will look to limit Tennessee’s movements as they chase a return to winning ways. 

The winning margin separating the two teams has been six or fewer in eight of those 18 encounters at Nissan Stadium, and the absence of fans isn’t expected to change that come Thursday. Indianapolis appeal at +325 to win by one-to-six points with bet365 NJ, while New Jersey customers can back the Colts at +200 to be leading at half-time and the full-time whistle.
