Few teams head into their matchups this weekend with less combined momentum than the Steelers (3-7) and Colts (4-6-1). They’ll each be looking to pick up their second win in their last five games on Sunday.

The Steelers welcomed T.J. Watt back from an extended injury-related absence two weeks ago, and the team now has a 2-1 record in games where Watt has been able to play. He contributed a pair of pass deflections and a phenomenal interception at the line of scrimmage in the team’s 30-37 loss to the Bengals last week.

The Steelers held a 20-17 lead at halftime and had a reasonable shot to sweep the Bengals, but their offense – which ranks second-to-last in scoring – was quickly left behind. On their first six second-half drives, the Steelers gained a paltry 52 yards and three points.

The Colts, for their part, looked like they might be the second straight team to upset the Eagles last week before ultimately falling 16-17. Jonathan Taylor got the ball 25 total times and gained 94 yards, as well as the team’s lone touchdown. Chase McLaughlin converted three field goals for the other nine points, including a 51-yard kick in the first half. Had Taylor and McLaughlin not been responsible for a lost fumble and missed 50-yard attempt on consecutive third-quarter drives, the Colts could easily be entering this game with a .500 record and two-game win streak.

The Steelers haven’t won on the road since their season opener. They’ve covered the spread in three of their last five games after starting the season 1-3-1 against it. The Colts covered in their last two, but they’ve only covered once in four games as the favorite this season.
