Research by AmericanGambler.com into the world’s highest paid sports stars under the age of 30 reveals that Brazil’s soccer superstar is paid almost double any other athlete in the same age category.

Paris Saint Germain and the word money have been synonymous for several years, especially since the completion of the world’s most expensive transfer of then Barcelona’s Neymar. It can now be revealed that Neymar earned $90M in 2018; almost twice that of USA basketball star James Harden, who earned $46.4M in 2018.

The most heavily featured sport is in fact Basketball, with 15 of the 30 highest paid athletes under the age of 30 shooting hoops for a living. The NFL provides another 5 of the names on the list as the USA dominates the list, with 22 of the 30 names registered as US citizens.

The list features the two Brazilian soccer players (Neymar and Oscar), and two British citizens in Gareth Bale and the former World Heavyweight Champion of The World, Anthony Joshua. Whilst the list doesn’t feature his opponent Andy Ruiz, the list features another Mexican Boxer Canelo Alvarez as the third highest paid athlete under 30, having earned $44.5M in 2018.

The two highest earning under-30 golfers in the world also hail from America, in the shape of Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, whilst the only tennis star to feature is Japan’s Kei Nishikori thanks to his lucrative $33M worth of endorsements in 2018.
