After far, far more weeks of consecutive losses, the Bears have won two of their last three games to match the Chargers’ win total for the season. This includes a 30-12 romp over another AFC West team, the Raiders, in Week 7. Despite missing starting quarterback Justin Fields, the Bears ran a functional offense with undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent under center, finding three touchdowns through the effort of running back D’Onta Foreman and clamping down a Raiders offense led by veteran backup Brian Hoyer. Bagent currently figures to start on Sunday night.
The Chargers are three weeks removed from their own victory over the Raiders, but have lost each of their two games since. Their 17-31 loss to the Chiefs last week saw two interceptions from Justin Herbert, four touchdowns allowed to Patrick Mahomes, and zero points on the board in the second half.

That’s a hard projection when the Chargers allow the second-most total yards (406.8) and the most passing yards (310.0) per game on defense.
