NCAA March Madness Betting Predictions & First Round Upset Picks

Are you looking for the NCAA March Madness 2021 bracket betting with the best chance for seed outside of the top two to make the Final Four?

The East Region could be your place.

Michigan was very dominant for the better part of the 2020-21 season, but has lost three of five heading into the NCAA Tournament. Of course, two of those losses were to top seed Illinois and second seed Ohio State, but losses are losses, and it could open up this bracket.

ACC Tournament runner-up Florida State has the third best odds to come out of this part of the bracket, with second-seeded SEC champion Alabama the second choice.

This bracket will tip off play on Saturday, with the Second Round played on Monday, March 22.

Favorite:

1-Michigan (20-4), +130 odds to win the East Region, +600 odds to win national championship (third best odds)

NCAAB Contenders:

2-Alabama (24-6), +400 odds to win the East Region; 4-Florida State (16-6), +850 odds to win East Region; 3-Texas (19-7), +850 odds to win East Region 

Cinderella Shot:

4-Florida State. While the Seminoles are not that far down the seeding line, they are a big price at +850 to win the East Region. FSU is very good, and Michigan has faltered slightly down the stretch, albeit in the Big Ten. Florida State has a great shot to go to the Final Four.

First Round Best Bets:

4-Florida State -11 (-110) over 13-UNC Greensboro. I am very high on this FSU team.

First Round Upset Picks:

9-St. Bonaventure +1.5 over 8-LSU and 14-Abilene Christian +9.5 over 3-Texas. Sorry Kishore, but the Bonnies (16-4) are a tough team, and will be ready to move into the Second Round over LSU. In the other game, Abilene Christian (23-4) plays good defense, and can get to the basket, something that should keep them in the game. A moneyline +350 bet on the Wildcats could be a play as well.
