DraftKings is a daily fantasy sports (DFS) website based in Boston, Massachusetts, that offers residents in Connecticut fantasy wagering options across a range of the world’s most popular sports.
The Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA) was ended in 2018 and has caused a ripple effect in U.S. gambling legislature. DFS sites like DraftKings have been ruled skill games in most states.
Connecticut is also moving quickly towards adopting other sports betting legislature and could expand to accommodate sportsbook facilities in the near future (late 2019 or 2020).
