This is a tough question, but one that can be tackled. Much like when you are trying to figure out a way to do anything, there has to be a plan set up before you can successfully take on any challenge. Many people say that a failure to plan is a plan to fail, and trying to start some new life pattern is much the same.
If you are trying to quit betting on football, you have to make sure you do not fall into the same patterns as you were while you were betting it. They say it comes down to “People, places, and things.” If watching games all day Saturday is something that makes you want to bet on football, then change up your routine that day. If it has to do with a group of people that you are hanging out with, then try to switch it up for awhile.
It is something that you have to work to do. There is really no magic cure. But the key would be to make the changes that will put you in a better position to succeed. Also, do not get down on yourself if it does not happen right away; sometimes it takes awhile to succeed. Stay positive.
