Betting on Denver Broncos from Colorado
What to Know: Denver made the playoffs every year from 2011-15 and hasn’t made them since. Last year the Broncos finished 6-10 a year after finishing 5-11. The team made major changes, including trading quarterback Case Keenum to the Washington Redskins and acquiring quarterback Joe Flacco in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. Now they have to see if it was worth the trouble.
Best Players: The Broncos hope Flacco can return to the form he had when he consistently took the Ravens to the playoffs and won a Super Bowl with them in 2012. The problem for Flacco is going to be the supporting cast around him is not that great. Denver’s strength is on defense led by pass rushers Von Miller and Bradley Chubb.
How to Bet: Denver is a tough team to get a read on until you see how Flacco does in his new offense and with new players around him. Which is why the best way to bet the Broncos might be to take the under in over/under bets. The defense is still the strength of the team. Last year the under was 11-5 in the Broncos’ 16 games.
