Bayern Munich require only four more wins to secure a record-extending eighth Bundesliga title, and a visit from Fortuna Dusseldorf in Week 29 promises to only strengthen their odds.
Bundelsiga Week 29 Betting Prediction
A midweek win over Borussia Dortmund means Die Roten are seven points clear at the top, while RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach are all hoping to respond after dropping points last time out.
Hansi Flick’s leaders are at almost pointless odds of -1200 (1.08) to beat Fortuna on the moneyline. However, Fox Bet sportsbook gives New Jersey residents a more appealing price of +1600 (17.00) on Robert Lewandowski—the Bundesliga’s top scorer this season with 27 goals—to open the scoring en route to a 3-0 home win.
It’s possible a bigger blowout is in store given 15 places separate the two teams, but Dusseldorf have looked more resilient of late and are unbeaten in their last six league games.
Leipzig have also showed steely form and are unbeaten in 10 games across all competitions. However, Julian Nagelsmann’s side have also drawn four of their last five and are only two points above fifth-place Leverkusen.
They’ll visit Cologne on Monday as -182 favorites with bet365 NJ, but the draw price of +340 (4.40) looks worthy of a punt considering Leipzig’s disappointments of late.
Cologne sit 11th and haven’t won in four games (two draws, two losses), but the only defeat in their last nine home outings came at home to irrepressible Bayern (a 4-1 loss in February).
The Billy Goats haven’t failed to net at home since September—a run of 11 straight matches—and Leipzig also appeal at +170 (2.70) to win with both teams to score.
Matheus Cunha won a decisive penalty in Hertha’s 2-2 draw at Leipzig in midweek, but the Brazilian couldn’t add to his goal tally after scoring in four straight games prior to that.
The capital club have scored at least twice in their last five games, and FoxBet offers NJ customers Bet Boost odds of +290 (3.90) for Cunha to score as part of a Hertha win.
Elsewhere, Bayern look capable of winning by a big margin at home to Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday having scored 24 goals in their last six meetings with the relegation-threatened outfit (an average four goals per game).
Lewandowski and Thomas Muller are +190 (2.90) to each get on the score sheet—as they did in a 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt one week ago—despite Fortuna’s recently improved form.
