Brazil vs Peru July 7/19 Prediction

After a month-long tournament, Peru and Brazil will round out the Copa America on Sunday. Its the Peruvians first Copa final since the last won the tournament in 1975 while Brazil hasn’t reached the showpiece since 2007 when they defeated Argentina for their eighth title. Brazil and Peru met in the group stages earlier with Brazil running out 5-0 winners.

One would hope that this matchup won’t be as one-sided and having beaten both Uruguay and defending champions Chile on their way to the Rio final. Brazil also recorded some impressive victories along the way and, with the home crowd backing them, will be keen to end this home tournament on a better note than the last one, the 2014 World Cup. Expect a closer rematch of the group stage matchup ending in the same result.
