How do you bet on Boston Celtics, what is your strategy?
The Boston Celtics have been one of the better teams this season but they haven’t necessarily been profitable for bettors.
The Celtics have had a winning record this season and should be a major contender in the Eastern Conference playoffs, however, Boston has been a slight loser at the betting window.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t look for spots to take the famed franchise late in the season and once the playoffs arrive.
The Celtics have been good against the spread in the role as a home favorite and as a road underdog this season.
Boston also has a decent knack for covering the spread against fellow Eastern Conference teams. However, Boston has fared poorly in some other key ATS categories and could be a fade in certain roles moving forward. The Celtics have struggled on both two and three days rest and have performed very poorly against the number coming off a straight-up loss. Boston has also been terrible as an away favorite, and also can’t be counted on in the role of road favorite, home underdog or with no rest. Maybe worst of all, however, for the Celts has been the team’s record against the spread against th Western Conference, as those teams have been a strong cover against Boston.
The Celtics are a strong OVER play when coming off a win and are generally a good OVER team at home, as well.
Boston has also been a very good OVER play when playing with one day’s rest, and also can be trusted to go OVER when favored in any game.
We may be able to trust Boston to stay UNDER when playing as a home underdog
