Betting on Washington Redskins, where to find best odds and picks?
What to Know: The Redskins were off to a decent start last year and then No. 1 quarterback Alex Smith was lost for the season with a gruesome knee injury that might end his career. It didn’t help when No. 2 quarterback Colt McCoy got hurt in Smith’s place. Washington traded with Denver for quarterback Case Keenum, but he’s certainly not as good as Smith was.
Best Players: Tight end Jordan Reed is the team’s top offensive threat and the go-to player on that side of the ball. Running back Derrius Guice missed his entire rookie season with a knee injury, but should be healthy in 2019 and could be a surprise in the league.
How to Bet: The Redskins are not going to win a lot of games without a top-flight quarterback, but they could keep some games closer than expected. If they are more than a seven-point underdog they could be worth looking into a bet. With a decent defense and a low-scoring offense, they could also be worth betting the under in over/under bets. Last season 11 of the 16 games went under.
