Appalachian State vs. Marshall NCAA Football Prediction: Brian Roe’s CFB “Report Card” likes Marshall to pull off upset

Number 23 Appalachian St. is going on the road after beating Charlotte last week, and could have a tough time of it.

Marshall usually gives their A+ effort at home, and with some fans permitted into the stadium, this veteran squad won’t feel intimidated playing a Top 25 opponent. 

The Thundering Herd defense has a ton of returning starters including senior S Nazeeh Johnson. I’d recommend grabbing points on Marshall. 

They will keep the game close and can definitely win this game outright. Big statement game for Marshall and I think they can deliver a solid performance.
