NFL Week 4 Betting and PickStar Recap
We had another exciting week of football! If you tuned in on Thursday night, we got to watch two young quarterbacks that are likely to have long careers in the league. Joe Burrow got the last laugh in their first matchup.
Then, Sunday was full of great games. The Bills absolutely dominated, the Cowboys won again, the Chiefs seemed back in form, and Tom Brady beat the Patriots in his first trip back to Foxborough as a Buccaneer.
Week 4 PickStar Challenge Correct Predictions
In our PickStar Challenge, we have six questions each week. If you get them all right, you’ll split the $1,000 prize with others who get them all correct. If you’re the lone one, the $1,000 is all yours.
For Week 4, we had two folks that only missed one question! So close! Let’s go over all of the questions and how they turned out.
Over or under 50.5 points scored in the Panthers @ Cowboys matchup? (Over)
The over/under was already high in this one, but the over hit. The Cowboys look fantastic and gave the Panthers their first loss of the season. The game ended with 64 points, so it wasn’t even close.
Who will win the Browns @ Vikings matchup? (Browns)
Personally, I had the Vikings. I didn’t think the Browns offense could score enough. However, 14 points was enough to get the job done. The Browns defense is insane!
Who will win the Cardinals @ Rams matchup? (Cardinals)
Here is the question that stumped our two contestants who got five questions correct. Most people had the Rams on top of the power rankings, but the Cardinals seem to be the real deal.
Who will throw for more passing yards in the Ravens @ Broncos matchup? (Lamar Jackson)
Well, Lamar Jackson dominated. It didn’t help that Teddy Bridgewater left the game with a concussion. I don’t think it would have mattered if he played the whole game with Jackson throwing for 316 yards.
Will Tom Brady throw for at least 300 yards against the Patriots? (No)
Brady got the win against Bill Belichick and the Patriots, but he didn’t exactly play that great. He only threw for 269 yards and did not record a touchdown. It was enough to win by just two points.
How many yards will Austin Ekeler rush for against the Raiders? (60+)
The Chargers are really good. Ekeler killed it in the game on Monday night, rushing for 117 yards and one touchdown. They move to 3-1 on the season.

Looking Ahead to Week 5
Now we start looking at the matchups for Week 5. You can wake up early on Sunday to catch the Jets and Falcons play in London. They will be playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Packers will be playing the 3-1 Bengals. I still don’t have faith in this Bengals team. The line is only Green Bay -3, which I will be jumping all over.
The Chargers will get another test against the Browns, who have been a stout defensive team. Spread looks to be close. It will be interesting to see if it moves any this week.
Sunday night is the key game of the week. The Bills and Chiefs both have Super Bowl ambitions. After stumbling early, the Chiefs can’t afford another loss this early in the season.
Then, Monday ends with Jackson and the Ravens taking on the Colts. Indianapolis doesn’t have enough to slow down Baltimore. But the Colts have found a way to keep some games interesting late, such as their game against the Rams.
Be sure to get your prediction in early, since the game in London will be starting at 9:30 ET on Sunday. If you haven’t played yet, sign up and join the fun!
