Can Houston make it 10 straight wins Saturday night in Boston?

The Astros are on fire, winning nine straight games. Houston won its 30th game last night against the Red Sox, in a 3-1 win.

Both the Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers now have 30 wins, with Houston slightly ahead for best record in Major League Baseball with a 30-15 record (Los Angeles is 30-16).

Ryan Pressly broke the major league record Friday night with his 39th straight scoreless outing. He has not allowed a run since August 10, 2018, and has thrown 38 innings during that time.

Can Houston keep it going Saturday, and into Sunday?

Corbin Martin (1-0, 3.38 ERA) will get his second start for the Astros, and will see Hector Velazquez (1-2 , 3.95 ERA) take the mound for the opposition.

Velazquez has been forced into action as a starter due to injuries. He has 12 appearances this year, with half coming out of the bullpen.
