NFL Draft 2020 Bets & Odds

It’s no secret Louisiana State quarter-back Joe Burrow looks like a shoo-in for the No. 1 pick—priced at -10000 (1.01) with DraftKings—but the spots immediately behind don’t look as certain.

Ohio State defensive end Chase Young is the favorite to go second overall with DraftKings at -715 (1.14), though Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa could offer the better value in that slot at odds of +400 (5.00) if selectors are confident he’s over the worst of his hip injury.

Burrow himself is a long shot at +3300 (34.00) to go second in the seemingly slim chance he isn’t first off the block. Oregon Ducks shot-caller Justin Herbert is also at odds of +3300 (34.00) to go second in the Draft, level with Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons as the offensive positions once again look likely to shape the higher end of this year’s conference-called event.

There is enough quarter-back talent in the conversation at the upper end to suggest the first three  picks could all be from that position. William Hill are offering +1600 (17.00) on that being the case   this year, though it’s been 21 years since the top three to go were all quarter-backs (Tim Couch, Donovan McNabb and Akili Smith).

Alabama standout Jerry Jeudy, 20, is the wide receiver who has garnered most attention in 2020 and is largely expected to be the top pick in his position at -120 (1.83). Oklahoma Sooners star CeeDee Lamb could be the more valuable pick in that field, though, as the 21-year-old continues to gather momentum of his own and at an attractive price of +200 (3.00).
