Brian Ortega Upsets Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 260 (+170) – Odds via William Hill NJ
The other title fight ready to be contested at UFC 260 (March 27) will see Brian Ortega attempt to steal the featherweight championship from reigning king Alexander Volkanovski.
Ortega’s chance at the belt may seem premature to some considering his unanimous-decision win over Chang Sung Yung in October was his first fight in almost two years. What’s more, the 15-1-1NC fighter was beaten badly by Max Holloway in his previous fight (Dec. 2018), and Volkanovski edged “Blessed” in back-to-back title fights.
However, we saw a new-and-improved Ortega against “The Korean Zombie,” one who looks as though he could stage an upset from his +170 underdog odds with William Hill Sportsbook when he faces Volkanovski:
His stand-up strength in particular looked transformed in that bout, while T-City’s strength in grappling is well-renowned among UFC featherweights. Volkanovski is 22-1 and a -180 for good reason, but Ortega could hold the well-rounded keys to finally unlocking “The Great.”
